Abstract	:	Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSNs) have entered the class of Wireless Sensor Networks to meet the multimedia requirements of new emerging applications, such as surveillance and telepresence. WMSNs commonly carry heterogeneous traffic with different Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. In this paper, the state of the art in QoS, protocols, Test beds, Simulators and the QoS requirements for Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks is surveyed and open research issues and challenges are discussed in details.
